Mario Bósquez

Mario Bosquez is VP Media Operations and Food Editor for food.mamiverse.com With one daughter, Alexandra, six nieces and nephews, one adopted dog, two adopted African Grey Parrots, Mario has a passion for writing about food, crafting, entertaining, and lifestyle trends.

A James Beard Award Nominee for Excellence in Broadcasting, Mario was a writer for Season 4 of the Food Network’s “Mexican Made Easy”with Chef Marcela Valladolid.  Mario was also host of “Living Today” on Martha Stewart Living Radio on Sirius/XM.  He has baked his famous Mexican Chocolate Cake for Martha Stewart herself, appeared on Broadway in “Latinologues”, and continues to write, perform, cook, bake, crochet, and is a Reiki Practicioner on the Master Level.

A fourth-generation Mexican-American from South Texas, Mario is an award-winning playwright and author The Chalupa Rules: A Latino Guide to Gringolandia (Plume Books), Mario has over three-decades experience in television, radio, print, stage, and on-line communications.  He has a deep interest in health issues and wrote the  Atlanta and Miami Health Guides for the Uninsured.  You’ll find Mario in the kitchen cooking and baking and here at Mamiverse Food sharing recipes, cooking techniques, and an exciting variety of food and lifestyle ideas, crafts, and innovations.  You can reach Mario at mario.bosquez@mamiverse.com
